This USB programming cable is made to connect your Alinco products with a Windows PC to use Alinco utility software for programming, editing and saving the data. This cable is identical to the ICOM OPC-478U and Alinco ERW-7. Prior to start using the cable, it is required that you install a driver-software provided in the product. The details of the driver software is in the adjunct CD.

We are sorry, but we don't support a step-by-step installation assistance of this driver software by phone or any other means.If you are not sure this device is usable or not with your PC system, we recommend you to use our serial port OPC-478 or ERW-4C programming cable that does not require a driver installation. This programming kit is not a straight forward cable, there is an internal converter circuit board mounted in an USB plug.
